2003 – present Owner and artistic director, Graffitti Cairo – a graphic arts studio and gallery located in Ma’adi, Cairo, Egypt with workshops for the production of the woodwork line and 10 outlets for the products.Co-owner of Sandouqa. A showroom for educational toys. Co-owner of Hands: a company that produces design furniture and garden accessories. Co-owner of Maadiguides: specialized guides on diverse topics like: galleries, women, wedding, pets, entertainment and new comers.

I am a 60 year-old, Egyptian citizen. I was married to an American spouse for 15 years. I have 3 children: Camelia, vice president of Milestones, a Rehabilitation Organization for ex-convicts with drug problems now studying public policy at UCLA - Wanis, owner of PowerPoint marketing company - Silvana, a Law school student at North Western University in Chicago USA.Our family enjoys archeology, sports, reading, music, and travelling and I have a special fondness for volleyball and hiking. I am an optimist, a bit of an idealist, and surely a romantic. My art often reflects these themes, and in my business transactions I prefer to handle jobs with a strong social and ecological impact.While Working with CAIP from 1997 to the present: I developed new skills in communication and public awareness includin - Management skills in USAID projects - Helped in writing a communication strategy - Developing work plans. - Initiating and supervising programs, documentaries, TV spots, -puppet shows. - Writing and designing a 3D animation spot. - Making presentations - Conceptualizing exciting exhibits with limited budgets - Managing events - Training the trainers in: - Preparing visuals for community projects - Presentation skills - Developing activities to enhance environmental public awareness |
